About Philagrafika Editions
Invitational Portfolio Program
The Philagrafika Invitational Portfolio is a project dedicated to documenting the innovative print-making practices of Philadelphia's diverse contemporary-art community. The program pairs artists of all disciplines with master printmakers and local print shops in an effort to expand the medium and challenge perceptions of what makes a contemporary fine-art print.
Local and internationally recognized artists are invited to produce original, limited-edition prints to be part of an ongoing record of Philadelphia’s rich and innovative contemporary-art scene. With inclusion in many major collections, the program provides substantial exposure to the artists and print shops who participate.
Philagrafika's prints are collected worldwide by many prestigious public institutions and private collectors, including the Woodmere Art Museum, Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Free Library of Philadelphia, and the New York Public Library.
